A toy maker in the Philippines runs a service to make stuffed toy replicas of pets. David Tan owns the Pampanga Teddy Bear Factory and says they’ve been flooded with orders both locally and overseas, as grieving pet owners look to ease their pain with a memorial ‘plushie’. Tan says he came up with the idea after losing his dog in 2019. Since it’s been running, the service has fulfilled thousands of requests.
