The hospital, designed for 1 thousand beds, was built in 10 days and will start working tomorrow, February 3. In the new Hoshenshan hospital, about 1.4 thousand military doctors will be treated for patients who have specially arrived in the province. According to the publication, the transfer of military doctors by the air forces of China became the largest non-military transport operation after the earthquake in Yushu in 2010. Many physicians who arrived in Wuhan have experience with the outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars) in 2003, as well as with Ebola in West Africa in 2014.
The second new Leishanshan hospital, also located in Wuhan, is scheduled to open on February 6. The construction of both hospitals could be monitored live. Federal channels broadcasted construction work.
