Things are expected to change dramatically for Mexico’s over two million domestic workers following a recent Supreme Court ruling.
Earlier this month, the Supreme Court made it mandatory to enrol domestic workers in the social security system and gave the government three years to ensure that.
It means, not only the employers would be paying for the country’s social security system, but these workers would also get access to Mexico’s public health system.
