The leaders of North and South Korea have agreed to hold a historic summit in April as hopes build for a breakthrough on the peninsula. It follows a high-level meeting between a South Korean delegation and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang.
They have agreed to install a hotline between the two leaders to de-escalate military tensions and North Korea has said it would consider freezing its nuclear programme under the right circumstances.
