German Chancellor Angela Merkel is facing a growing crisis of her own over immigration.
Interior Minister Horst Seehofer gave Merkel an ultimatum on Monday to either tighten asylum rules within two weeks, or he will withdraw his party’s support.
That move could bring down Merkel’s government and force new elections.
