Far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro will be Brazil’s next president.
Official results showed he won 55 percent of the vote, with nearly all ballots counted – defeating his challenger, Fernando Haddad.
Bolsonaro will take office in January, in a victory that marks a swing to the right for Latin America’s largest country.
