Far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro has finished well ahead of the rest in the first round of Brazil’s presidential election.
Although he did not win outright in the first round, Bolsonaro has a commanding lead over his rival, Fernando Haddad of the leftist Workers’ Party, heading into the runoff election in fewer than three weeks.
