The US president is under increasing pressure to confront Saudi Arabia over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi.
While Trump has made noises about being “unsatisfied” with the explanation given for Khashoggi’s death, the president and his top advisers have continued to emphasize the important role that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Saudi Arabia play in the US economy and foreign policy.
But with the story staying in the headlines, it remains to be seen if Trump will be forced to take action.
