If the US told Russia arrest these hackers. But now the EU is talking about illegal โ€œcontentโ€. Maybe the EU should seek real perspective of what regulating means. Youโ€™re not helping anyone. Apple didnโ€™t want to cooperate with a federal agency. Elon Musk is spending money like Google. Facebook wonโ€™t stop buying data gathering platforms. God forbid i instill the idea that WhatsApp needs to keep my privacyโ€ฆ because at the end of the day thatโ€™s what matters. The only thing that stifles innovation is the lack of a challenge. They were challenged to create something great, now they should see the challenge of keeping people's right to privacy secured as well, and not sell out everything just for a little profit.

AssassinsRequiem says:

Big corporations, just like big tech, will become vengeful because they have tasted unrestricting profits and will become vengeful & destructive.

It's like if you have a child that throws a tantrum, destroys your home, and then uses that example as a reason for you to not berate or ever say no to them. Corporations should always be treated like toddlers, forced to follow rules so that they grow up with more respect towards the people around them.
