Twitter is a company and is board and investors can choose and decide how they want the business to run. If investors are not happy with the board decisions they can sell their stocks or elect different board members at the next agm.

YouTube and Facebook censor all the time. I think Musk must buy huge stakes in both platforms and eventually take them. Free speech in comments are 100% blocked on YouTube. I can't tell you how many many comments I posted on all kinds of topics and they have been removed. I know if I had to guess on the number is in 100k. It pisses me off.
