Stan Lee, the writer-editor who breathed life into superheroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk and many others, has died at a medical centre in Los Angeles.
As the top writer at Marvel Comics in the 1960s, he revolutionised comics by introducing sophisticated plots, satire and even philosophy.
