US president Donald Trump has spoken out strongly about the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and wants the United States to get to the bottom of the matter.

22 US senators have written a letter to Trump over Khashoggi’s disappearance, invoking the Magnitsky Act which would initiate a US investigation into the incident and possibly result in sanctions.
